The Merritt & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring the Legacy Merritt program into our community. Funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program, this mentoring program empowers seniors and provides a chance to bridge the gap between generations by passing on knowledge and wisdom to the residents of the Nicola Valley.

Seniors play a very important role in our community and Legacy Merritt will contribute to the diversity and education by offering programs that could include, but are not limited to: gardening techniques, quilting, native crafts and arts, woodworking skills, photography, languages and mechanical skills.

Programs are scheduled to start in the summer and we want you to be a part of it!

If you are interested in being a part of Legacy Merritt, as a teacher or a student, please contact

Chamber manager Etelka Gillespie at 250-378-5634 or emailThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.
