Meagan Preston

Meagan brings to the Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce a wide variety of skills and education, including over 15 years of Marketing, Fundraising and Public Relations experience. She also posesses her CCDP designation (Certified Career Development Professional) and serves her community as paid on call Firefighter with the Merritt Fire Rescue Department. She has studied both at the University of the Fraser Valley and the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Meagan believes in her community and the value of a strong business economy through a solid Chamber network, and knows that it takes everyone’s collective effort to make it better. Her commitment to her family and community is what continues to drive her success.

Kim McLean



Kim was raised in Okanagan Falls, BC, and began working in the Property Management industry in 2016. Coming from a rodeo background, the move to Merritt was an easy one. Since moving to Merritt, Kim has joined a number of volunteer groups in town. NVRA, Little Britches and the Hockey with Heart Food Drive with the BCHL Merritt Centennials. Kim works at Merritt Property Management Ltd. She is currently writing for her Strata Management and Property Management license.


Louise Genier

 Louise currently serves at the Branch Manager at RBC in Merritt and brings years of experience as a business professional in financial services, project management and emergency services, with her most prominent strengths are building relationships, communication and leadership. 

Louise currently holds her Elder Planner Counselor designation, and is in good standing with the Canadian Initiative for Elder Planning Studies. She is also an accomplished adn distringuished Toastmaster in good standing with Toastmasters International.


 Brandy Sekhon


Brandy is the Owner and Manager of the Merritt McDonald's, which generously supports several initiatives in the Merritt community through charitable work. In 2018, Brandy joined the board of Directors and was appointed as Treasurer. Brandy's extensive business experience and education at Thompson Rivers University has made her a valuable asset to the Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce board.


Chandelle Agar


Chandelle is a long time resident of Merritt is the owner of Spaner and Webb Clothing, a long established on trend clothing store here in the heart of downtown Merritt, BC. Chandelle joined the Merritt Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2018, and brings with her Owner/Operator business experience in the downtown core.

Una Gabie




After completing her undergraduate degree at Simon Fraser University (Bachelor of Arts with a major in Criminology), Una moved to London, Ontario to attend the law school at the University of Western Ontario. During the summer between her first and second year, she worked as a research assistant for one of her professors and contributed to a couple of articles that were published in the New Zealand Torts Law Journal.

She was offered a position as a summer student in 2006 at a large, full service law firm in Kelowna where she also completed her articles in 2007-2008 and began her career as a licensed lawyer in 2008. She has been practicing law in Kelowna since April of 2008. In early 2012, and moved her practice to a small local law firm before opening Touchstone Law Group LLP in Kelowna in October 2012 with her partner, Jennette Vopicka. This new venture provides an opportunity to combine her law practice with the chance to engage more in the business side of the legal industry.

In her law practice, she has focused primarily on business law, real estate, wills and estates. In these areas, she really enjoys working closely with her clients and referral sources on both their personal and business related matters. Una enjoys working with both first time homebuyers, new business start-ups in addition to well established businesses in the Okanagan. She strives to provide highly personal services to her clients in an expedient manner.

Una relocated to Merritt in the fall of 2018 and shares her time between Kelowna and Merritt.  She looks forward to contributing to both communities in a professional and volunteer capacity.


Clive Masih


Clive has been in the mortgage business for over 11 years and has been in the lending industry for more than 24 years as a successful branch manager with several financial institutions. He has been a top producer for many years and is able to provide solutions in all types of mortgages. Clive was the top producer for 4 years in a row before he decided to be a Lead Planner and lead a successful brokerage team for the past 3 years.

With a wealth of experience and a passionate desire to provide the best mortgage for his clients, Clive works with the Mortgage Centre as a Broker and Franchise Owner with a quest to provide the best service for his clients, his referral partners, and for his brokerage team.

Clive joined the Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2019 after working with the Chamber on various different projects over a span of several years.
