We are a diversion program that deals with restorative justice referrals from the RCMP and local Crown Counsel. We service the Nicola Valley and the 5 surrounding Indian Bands, where they are given the opportunity to develop and participate in structured alternatives to routine court proceedings in minor criminal matters. My name is Colleen Twan and I am the Aboriginal Justice Coordinator and our program has been in operation since 1998.
