Community Futures Development Corporations provide their communities with a variety of services including: making business development loans; delivering a wide range of programs; establishing community partnerships and strategic alliances; initiating and implementing a diverse range of community projects; operating a Library/ Resource center; and providing technical support, training and information.

Community Futures Development Corporation of the Nicola Valley was established in 1989 to assist the residents of the Valley to initiate and generate solutions to common economic problems.

Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by community members who volunteer to sit on Committees of the Board, the CFNV offers a wide selection of programming to the people of the Nicola Valley.

Our programs include Business Services, Employment Services, Economic Development Services and the Community Economic Adjustment Services

CFNV of the Nicola Valley’s Programs and Services are funded in whole or in part through contributions from Western Economic Diversification, Service Canada, and the City of Merritt.
