The Collective Voice of Business in the Nicola Valley
Established in 1906 - before the City of Merritt's own incorporation - the Merritt & District Chamber of Commerce represents over a century of commitment to growth and development in the Nicola Valley. During this time, the Chamber has worked diligently to connect local business owners and organizations with resources and each other, established long standing community programs and promoted their vision of a valley that's stronger together.

The Merritt & District Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of members of the local professional community. Through regular Board of Directors meetings and an Annual General Meeting (AGM), this Board collaborates on existing and new Chamber initiatives.

Laurie joined the Merritt & District Chamber of Commerce team in 2023, and immediately began developing new projects, programs and events for the Chamber - her enthusiasm, passion and knack for problem-solving have helped elevate the Chamber to new levels and will continue for years to come.
