AWS/re-Start is a free tech program available to youth in BC hosted by Youth Employment Services (YES) and BC Tech.
The program provides participants with free access to the Amazon Web Services re/Start program. AWS re/ Start program is a 15- week, skills development and training program that prepares participants for careers in the cloud and connects them to potential employers. A technology background is not required and program participants will conclude the program by writing the exam for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Eligibility
You must be a Resident of British Columbia.
You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person entitled to work in Canada.
Please note: Temporary foreign workers, international students, working holiday visas, or other temporary residents are unfortunately NOT eligible to participate
Preference will be given to individuals who identify as part of these groups: Indigenous Peoples, women, rural youth and workers transitioning from other industries.
